Backpack Buddies
The Backpack Buddies program is offered by Coastal Cathedral Church of God and P.A.C.K. of Savannah to students attending Southwest Elementary. If you choose to enroll your child, he/she will receive a bag containing child-appropriate food every Friday at the end of the school day. The food is at no cost to you or your child. The food is donated.
Backpack Buddies is intended to provide nutritious food for your child to eat during the weekend so he or she will be able to come to school on Mondays ready to pay attention and learn. However, we must rely on you to inform us of any food allergies your child may have. We know you will help make sure that your child eats properly, does assigned homework, and gets enough rest to succeed at school.
